Amelia is available for school and preschool author visits, festivals and events. She uses The Australian Society of Authors recommended rates.
(guide: full day school visit = $677 (3 x 60min sessions or 4 x 45min sessions; in-person or virtual). Lower rates for preschools.
Amelia's author visits are entertaining, interactive and fun. She tailors each session to deliver engaging, age-appropriate presentations that are designed to inspire a love of reading and creative writing. She loves giving tips on writing and idea generation, insights into an author's life and encourages kids to connect with their innate creativity.
With five funny picture books recently published by Scholastic Australia and Allen and Unwin (and more coming soon!) Amelia has a variety of books to have fun with on her visit.

Amelia does picture book manuscript assessments for aspiring and emerging writers, via email, including for rhyme and meter, and also for non-rhyming texts:
AUD$100 per manuscript.
